Lauren is responsible for spearheading MGV’s East Coast Startup Ecosystem. As a software engineer by trade, Lauren is a technologist at her core. Previously building with technologies such as AI and ML, Lauren provides MGV with a deep understanding and technical perspective as she vets enterprise SaaS products.

Carsten Maschmeyer founded the independent financial advisor AWD in 1988, which expanded into eleven countries and became Europe’s largest independent financial services firm. In 2000, he successfully launched his company on the stock market and into the M-DAX. In 2007, Carsten Maschmeyer sold its stake in Switzerland’s largest life insurer Swiss Life. Since 2007 he invested in more than 170 young entrepreneurs.
